Microsoft announced today it is bringing its third Feature Experience Pack (FEP) into the Beta Channel of their Windows Insider Program. Like the prior FEP, this one simply comprises a single new attribute.
Microsoft Came up with New FEP in the Windows Insider Beta Channel
“Now, we’re releasing Windows Feature Experience Bundle 120.2212.3030.0 into Windows Insiders from the Beta Channel,” Microsoft Revealed Today. “This upgrade is only available to Windows Insiders from the Beta Channel that are still on 20H2 (Construct 19042.662 or greater). If you opted to proceed to 21H1 a week, then you won’t obtain this Windows Feature Experience Bundle upgrade. We’ll be releasing Windows Feature Experience Bundle updates for Insiders on 21H1 shortly”.

This FEP comprises just one new attribute: Increased reliability of this Handwriting Input Panel (HIP). The very first FEP comprised two attributes, an addition to the Screen Snip expertise and support to get a split virtual keyboard once the PC is used in portrait style. The next FEP had only 1 feature, enhanced reliability of display snipping experience.
As you can tell, these items have not been super impressive to date, but I suppose the idea is that Microsoft is testing FEP delivery at the moment and will gradually expand the number of attributes that FEPs could provide. However, one thing we do know: While all those FEPs have just been tested with Insiders up to now, everyone should make its approach to general customers through Windows Update as well.
